Juzar Motiwalla
Juzar is a resident of Singapore and Board Member/Advisor to several companies in the technology space that have a global footprint. He was Partner, Investments at Green Dot Capital where he was responsible for global investments. Prior to joining Green Dot Capital, he was Chief Executive Officer of Kent Ridge Digital Labs (KRDL), a 300 man high-tech laboratory that incubated 15 start-up companies in Asia and Silicon Valley. KRDL's success in bridging competitive world-class technologies with high-growth markets, received international coverage including feature articles in Red Herring, Asian Wall Street Journal and Time. He has also spearheaded the development of several multi-year international R&D partnerships with Apple, HP, IBM, Ericsson and others.
Juzar serves on the Board of UniDEL's investee company in the venture space. Juzar has been on International Executive Councils of several professional associations and for eight years was a Board Member of Singapore's National Computer Board.
Juzar has an MSc and PhD in Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, USA.
Dhanpal Jhaveri
Dhanpal is CEO of Everstone Capital, a US$ 1.5 billion private equity and real estate investment management firm. He has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and strategy and has led several transactions across a wide range of industries, both domestic and cross border. Prior to his current role at Everstone, Dhanpal was Director of Strategy at Vedanta Resources, India's largest metals and mining business, Head of Investment Banking at ICICI Securities and Executive Director Corporate Finance at KPMG. From his experience both in corporate finance and industry, Dhanpal brings a unique insight to UniDEL's investment focus and strategic direction.
Dhanpal holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from Babson College, Graduate School of Business USA.
Shaunak R Dalal
Shauank is a partner at MZS Associates, a boutique Tax, Regulatory, Audit Assurance and Corporate Finance firm. Shaunak has more than 25 years experience with a specialization in Tax & Business Advisory and extensive expertise in succession planning and M&A structuring. Shaunak pioneered employee stock options structuring in India and has co-authored 'ESOP - A Paradigm' published by the Bombay Chartered Accountants Society. Shaunak has and continues to play a crucial role at UniDEL across transaction structuring, tax and corporate planning.
Shaunak is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Direct Tax Committee of the Indian Merchants Chambers.
