Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electronics Hardware to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex electronics products. The role is responsible for planning, execution, and delivery across schematic design, PCB layout, prototyping, validation, compliance, and manufacturing readiness, ensuring commitments are met on schedule, within budget, with high quality, and with minimized risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own hardware project execution from requirements freeze through production handover
- Define and manage project scope, milestones, schedules, and resource plans
- Drive design and technical reviews (schematic, PCB, BOM, DFM/DFA/DFT)
- Manage prototype builds, re-spins.
- Track and mitigate technical, schedule, supply-chain, and manufacturing risks
- Coordinate with component engineering and supply-chain teams on part selection and lifecycle risks
- Interface with EMS/manufacturing partners for pilot builds and production readiness
- Ensure adherence to hardware quality, documentation, and release processes
- Lead regulatory and compliance activities in coordination with test labs
- Provide regular status reporting to customers and internal stakeholders
- Experienced in implementing secure development methodologies, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data and systems integrity.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10–15 years of experience in electronics/hardware project management
- Strong understanding of the hardware product development lifecycle
○ Requirements → Schematic → PCB → Prototype → Validation → Production - Hands-on exposure to PCB design, BOM management, and hardware validation workflows
- Proven experience managing complex hardware programs and multi-board systems
- Strong skills in schedule, cost, risk, and change management
- Experience working with EMS vendors, fabrication houses, and component suppliers
- Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance workflows
○ UL, IEC, CE certification processes - Proficiency with project planning and tracking tools (MS Project, Jira, Excel)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Good to Have:
- Experience in Industrial, Automotive, BMS, Power Electronics, or Consumer Electronics domains
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile Project Management certification
