Role Description
As an Investment Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our experienced investment professionals to conduct in-depth research-analysis, performance, and risk evaluation across asset classes like equities, fixed income, hybrids, offshore, derivatives etc. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment research and contribute to the development of investment strategies that drive value for our company.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting fundamental research and analysis on investment opportunities within multiple asset classes and geographies.
- Support the investment team in evaluating/hunting investment opportunities with focus on risk adjusted returns by performing appropriate due diligence.
- Monitor market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events to assess their impact on investment portfolios.
- Assist in preparing investment reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and other team members to identify potential risks and opportunities in the investment landscape.
- Perform ad hoc research and analysis as required to support investment decision-making and portfolio management activities.
Eligibility
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent research abilities, with the capacity to gather, synthesize, and interpret complex financial data and information.
- Knowledge of investment concepts, financial markets, and asset classes, with a passion for learning and staying abreast of industry trends.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and insights clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
