IoT Project Intern

Role Description

As a IoT Project Intern, you will play a vital role in assisting UNIDEL in defining its device strategy for the Agritech market. This internship provides a unique opportunity for students to contribute to the Agritech industry by evaluating the feasibility of developing proprietary devices or establishing strategic partnerships with existing manufacturers.

Responsibilities

Needs Assessment:

  • Conduct a thorough needs assessment to identify specific requirements and objectives for UNIDEL’s device strategy.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and technological advancements within the Agritech industry.

In-house Development vs. Partnership:

  • Evaluate the feasibility and resource implications of developing UNIDEL’s proprietary device.
  • Assess potential benefits and drawbacks of partnering with existing Agritech device manufacturers.

Use Case Definition:

  • Define clear use cases and functional requirements for the envisioned device, considering the needs of the target customers and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize features and functionalities based on their alignment with UNIDEL’s business objectives and market demands.

Technology Evaluation:

  • Explore emerging technologies such as IoT, sensors, and data analytics to enhance the capabilities and performance of the device.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate the technical viability of proposed solutions.

Partnership Strategy:

  • Identify potential partners within the Agritech ecosystem who can complement and enhancethe device’s strengths and offerings.
  • Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships that leverage complementary resources, expertise, and market reach.
Eligibility
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program, with a focus on Technology, Engineering, Agritech, or a related field.
  • Students in their second to third-year of undergraduate studies are eligible.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in Agritech industry trends.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, IoT, sensors, and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder discussions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
